Recipe for 4
1 onion, quartered
1 large potato, thickly cubed
6 cups milk
4 tablespoons heavy cream
300gr fish fillet (your choice)
8-10 medium prawns, shelled and deveined
a handful of chopped dill
1/3 teaspoon grated nutmeg
salt and pepper to taste
Pour milk into a large pot. Add the red onions and potato. Bring to boil and simmer for 20 minutes over medium heat.
Cut the fish fillet into big bite size portions. Add fish fillet, prawns, nutmeg, salt and pepper in the pot and stir gently. Continue simmering for 6-8 minutes. Pour in the pot the cream and stir gently. Cook for 4-5 more minutes.
Remove the pot from heat, add chopped dill and mix well.
Serve the soup hot with some crusty bread. Enjoy!
