Easy Chicken Parmigiana (Parmesan)

Recipe for 4

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 cup dry bread crumbs
2 eggs
1 jar marinara sauce, (ready or homemade)
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Preheat oven to 175°C.
In a bowl beat the eggs with salt and pepper.
Flatten chicken breasts with kitchen mallet between tow sheets of plastic wrap. Dip the chicken cutlets into the eggs mixture and then through the bread crumbs. Grease lightly a large baking dish and place in it the chicken. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Remove the baking dish from oven and pour the marinara sauce over chicken. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top. Bake in oven for 15 more minutes or until bubbly and cheese is melted and golden.
Serve with pasta or French fries. Enjoy!
