Chicken Teriyaki Honey Glazed (Japanese Recipe)

Recipe for 4

Ingredients:500g chicken breast fillets, boneless and skinned, cut into cubes
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 large onion cut into thick wedges
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled, thinly chopped
3 cups thickly sliced vegetables (carrots, zucchini, bell peppers –any colour, broccoli, celery, etc)Salt and pepper

Preparation:
Heat the oil (high heat) preferably in a wok and stir-fry the chicken with the ginger until lightly golden. Add the onions and continue tossing until onions become translucent. Start adding the vegetables you prepared, by adding first the harder ones. For example if you prepared all the above mentioned vegetables then you should start with the carrots and the broccoli and finish with the bell peppers and zucchini. Each time you add a vegetable into your wok you should stir it for 30sec to 1 minute before you add the next one. Season with some salt and pepper.Add the teriyaki sauce and the honey in a glass and stir until they mix well. If your honey is too thick add some more teriyaki sauce. Add the mixed honey and teriyaki sauce into the wok with the chicken. Stir well for 3-4 minutes until the sauce coats all the ingredients. Do all this over high heat.
Serve hot with some noodles. Enjoy and try to use chop sticks!
