Vegetables Au-gratin (healthy recipe)


Recipe for two
Ingredients:
500gr of mixed vegetables (preferably cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, onions)
½ skimmed milk
1 cup of grated cheese (Edam with less fat content)
½ teaspoon nutmeg powder
Salt/Pepper
Preparation:
For this recipe you will need two small fireproof ceramic bowls. Place the vegetables in the two bowls and try not overfilling them. If the 500gr of vegetables are too much (or too little) for your bowls use the appropriate quantity just for your bowls. You may use even frozen vegetables.
Divide evenly in the two bowls the milk and season with nutmeg, salt and pepper. Cover the vegetables with the cheese.
Preheat the oven for a while. Place the bowls in the oven for 15 minutes in 200oC, and then for another 5 minutes, under the grill in your oven in full power. Serve it hot. Enjoy!
