120gr soft brown sugar
100gr blanched almonds
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
a pinch of salt
4 large eggs, preferably free-range or organic
150gr self-raising flour
100gr fudge
Crème fraîche or vanilla ice cream

Jamie’s Chocolate Cake with nuts and biscuits

120gr whole pecans, roughly chopped
120gr pistachio nuts, peeled
10 glacé red cherries
2 ready-made meringue nests (regular size), smashed up
140gr unsalted butter
1 tablespoon golden syrup, or honey
