Recipe for 4
Ingredients
4 thick boneless pork chops
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons ground coriander
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 tablespoon minced ginger
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
Sliced green onions (for serving)
Preparation:
Lightly carve both sides a diamond pattern on pork chops.
In a small bowl combine sugar, paprika, coriander, salt, red pepper, ginger and garlic. Rub with a generous quantity of the mixture each pork chop on each side.
Heat over medium heat a large nonstick grill-pan and add 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add the pork chops and cook 4 minutes on each side or until done according to personal tastes. Serve with steamed rice and garnish with sliced green onions. Enjoy!
