Recipe for 6-8
Ingredients:
Salad:
7 cups finely shredded cabbage (white)
1/2 cup shredded carrot
1 large onion, grated
Dressing:
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon pepper, powder
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise, choose a good quality
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
Preparation:
Place the shredded cabbage and carrots into a large salad bowl and add the grated onion.
Place in a food processor the following ingredients: sugar, salt, pepper, milk, mayonnaise, buttermilk, vinegar and lemon. Process these ingredients for some seconds until smooth. Pour the dressing in the salad bowl and mix thoroughly to coat the vegetables.
Cover the salad bowl and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
Serve this salad chilled with your favorite hamburger. Enjoy!
