Recipe for 4-6
Ingredients:
6 thick pork chops
3/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup water
3 tablespoons white vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/3 teaspoon ground black pepper
Preparation:
In a medium saucepan, combine the ketchup, water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, paprika and pepper. Bring to a boil on medium heat. Reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 about minutes uncovered, stirring occasionally. Set aside the sauce to cool and share it equally into two bowls.
Preheat the oven to 200oC. Using one of the two bowls, brush both sides of the chops with enough sauce and place them in a large pan preferably with a rack. Place in the oven and broil for about 5 minutes on each side. Brush with more sauce and continue cooking and turning every 4-5 minutes, until juices run clear. Serve with the reserved sauce on the side and same jacket potatoes. Enjoy!
