Homemade chicken nuggets (Xs' own Recipe)

Recipe for 4-6

Ingredients:
1/2kg chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
1/2 cup flour, all purpose
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Water
Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation:
The chicken nuggets, is a dish kids love. Their preparation is such an easy task that you do not need to buy them ready-made.

Cut the chicken into bite size cubes, wash and let it drain well.
In a bowl mix the flour, salt, pepper, and baking powder. Add little by little some water and stir well with a fork until it becomes a thick batter.
Place enough oil into a large frying pan and let it warm on medium heat. Put a portion of the chicken in the batter and stir well to blanket it. If you are using breadcrumbs, pass the chicken from the batter to a bowl with the breadcrumbs and blanket it. Take one by one the prepared chicken pieces and place them in the hot oil. Make sure that you do not place more than one piece at a time because the nuggets will stick to each other and the result will not be nice.
Continue adding pieces of chicken in the frying pan but do not overfill it. When golden on one side, turn them over. Remove with a slotted spoon to a plate onto some kitchen paper.
Serve with some French fries and some BBQ sauce on the side. Enjoy!
