Simple Greek Salad Recipe

Recipe for two.

Ingredients:
2 fresh medium size tomatoes
1 cup of freshly cut cucumber into thick slices
1 medium size onion
2 fresh green bell peppers
8-10 Olives (Green or Black depending on your own tastes)
1/2 cup of feta cheese
Olive oil
Wine Vinegar
Some mint (fresh or dried)
Salt

Preparation:

The secret of this salad is based on the freshness of your ingredients. As long as you choose to use fresh ingredients your success is guaranteed. Remember also to wash them very well.
Cut the tomatoes into cubes and place them into a deep platter. Add the cucumber and the olives. Add the onion and the peppers both of them cut into thick rings.
If you are using fresh mint chop thinly 4-5 leafs not more because it has a very intense aromas and flavor and you do not want to lose the rest flavors of your ingredients. If you are using dried, get a small handful and crush it between your hands and throw it over the rest of the ingredients in the platter.
Cut the feta cheese into small cubes and add them in your salad.
Season with some olive oil, vinegar and salt according to you tastes, or, you may place 4 table spoons of olive oil, 1 1/2 vinegar, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt in a jar which safely closes very well and shake it for a while until the ingredients mix very well. Open the jar and season your salad with the liquid.
Enjoy your salad with some freshly baked bread!
