Ingredients:
1kg salmon fillets (cleaned)
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon chilli sauce
1 tablespoon fresh ginger (minced)
2 cloves fresh garlic (minced)
Juice and zest from a lemon
1 tablespoon brown sugar
3 green onions (chopped)
Preparation:
Prepare an outdoor grill to high heat (you may also use a grill pan on your stove).
In a bowl mix together soy sauce, chilli sauce, ginger, garlic, lemon juice and zest, and brown sugar. Reserve 4 tablespoons of the mixture for brushing the fish while grilling. Marinade the fish fillets in the remaining mixture for 30 minutes.
Grill salmon for 4-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. While grilling brush the fillets with the reserved marinate.
Remove and place on a platter. Sprinkle with chopped fresh green onions.
Serve with steamed rice. Enjoy!
