Fresh Homemade Pasta (easy recipe)

Making fresh pasta does not require a postgraduate degree. It is as easy as boiling them! However, fresh homemade pasta always makes an impression to your quests. You need only three ingredients.
Recipe for four
Ingredients:
2 cups white flour
3 large eggs
½ teaspoon salt
Preparation:
Place the flour on a table in a mound and make a well in the center. Put the eggs and salt into the well. Mix the eggs together with a fork without disturbing the flour. Using the fork, gently incorporate the flour into the egg mixture a little at a time.
Once you have incorporated all of the flour together with the egg using the fork, use your fingertips to blend the mixture together well. After the wet and dry ingredients have been combined, bring the mixture together with your hands to form a ball. If your dough seems too dry, add a little more egg mixture. If the mixture is too wet and sticks to your fingers, rub your hands with flour and form the dough into a ball.
Knead the pasta dough as you would bread dough, pushing down and away from you with the palm of your hand. Fold the dough over on itself and push down and away again. Continue this until the dough is smooth, about 7 minutes.
Cut the dough into 3 equal sections. Form each section into a ball. Cover the dough balls with a towel or bowl and let rest for 15 minutes. A pasta machine is great for rolling and cutting the dough. If you don't have a pasta machine, a rolling pin will work just fine.
Form your dough into rectangular sheets of approximately 30cm long, 15cm wide and 20-25mm thick. After rolling the dough out to the desired thickness, it's time to cut the dough into pasta. If you are using a pasta machines, this is an easy task as most of them come with an adapter that cuts the dough.
If you don't have a pasta machine, you can fold the rolled dough into a square. Cut the open end of the square a 1/2cm at a time. Immediately, unroll the pasta and lay flat.
Hang the pasta on a dowel or other object such as a clothes drying rack. You may also lay the pasta flat on a towel, but there is a case to stick together.
Your homemade pasta is ready. You can cook it directly which is the best thing to do or keep it for a couple of days before using it. Place the fresh pasta in boiling water for 3-4 minutes and serve with your favorite sauce and cheese. Enjoy!
